The Dragon's Breath chili has “said” to be tested and recorded at a blistering 2.48 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU), positioning it as a top contender for the title of the world's hottest chili pepper. However, as of October 2023, Guinness World Records has not officially acknowledged this achievement. During that period, the Carolina Reaper retained its status as the recognized record holder for the hottest pepper.
